Bunaken Island has become an icon of the city of Manado, North Sulawesi. The underwater paradise has been discovered. This dive site is located in a location with slop in front of a vertical wall with hard and soft corals, black corals and sponges. Allowing seeing in the shallow, some coral rocks stand in lines with sandy parts in between. It is a unique and very interesting spot. It is very amazing how many rare and hidden animals can be found in Tanjung Pisok.
Tanjung Pisok dive site is stunning. The average depth is 15 meters with 30 meters of maximum depth. The average horizontal visibility is 15 meters. The water temperature is 27°C-29°C. The bottom contour is slope, which is dominated by coral reefs and rocks. The current in Tanjung Pisok is long shore. You can find the beautiful underwater world and sea life, including Trevallies, Snapper, Fussilier, Sweetlips, Box, Puffer, Porcupine, Flounders, Gobies, Moray eels, Leaf fish, Scorpion, Flathead, Blennies, Dragonet, Butterfly, Cardinal, Angel, Grouper, Damselfish, Anthias, Batfish, Wrasse, Parrot, Surgeon, Trigger, Tuna, Eagle Ray, Sea Snake, and many more. The coral reefs are still in good condition and they have submerged type. You can do either boat or drift diving in Tanjung Pisok.
